PM.com – Giving Up Control Is Good For Your Methodology… And Your Projects

Mark’s latest column on projectmanagement.com is now up.

Entitled “Giving up control is good for your methodology… and your projects”, his latest article explores the challenge of managing projects were control isn’t desirable — or possible. What is most fundamental to managing in this way is not treating all projects as being equal. We need to explicitly and consciously recognize when a project needs to adopt a more emergent approach. In doing so, we must also deliberately acknowledge that the resulting management approach needs to be different.

We’ve had great feedback so far. Check out the article, and join the discussion!
