Next Webinar: Product Management, The Fourth P of Project Management

Traditional project management was built on three pillars or three P’s: project, program, and portfolio. Organizations are starting to recognize the importance of products and services, in the delivery of value to customers, and implementing strategy in organizations. Project managers not only need to understand the role of their project to support the strategy of organizations but how the product they are building will support that strategy and realize the value to customers.

This presentation will look at the inter-dependency between products and product portfolios with projects, programs, and project portfolios. The presentation will highlight the need for project managers to understand the relationship between portfolios, programs, projects, and products to support organizations in implementing strategy. It is time for products to become the fourth P of project management.

Our guest speakers this month are Joanna Tivig and Peter Monkhouse:

Joanna Tivig has been an instructor for the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies for over a decade, teaching courses of product and project management.

Peter Monkhouse is an experienced speaker, educator, and consultant with over 40 years of experience leading teams and organizations to deliver value through projects.
