Technobility Webinar Series: An Update

For more than a decade, I have partnered with Peter de Jager in the deliver of the Technobility Webinar Series. We’ve offered free and open access to not only the two monthly live sessions, but also to the archive of more than 125 completed webinars.

As of today, we’re making a bit of a shift in how we manage our archive:

  1. We will continue to offer webinars throughout the year, on a mostly monthly schedule.
  2. Attending a live session (we almost always have two live sessions) will remain free for all attendees. This has been a commitment from the outset, and we continue to honour that commitment going forward.
  3. Once recorded, all new and ALL past sessions will be made available on a subscription-based site – viewable via a monthly or annual subscription that provides full site access.

With this change, Peter and I are hoping to move to a place where we are able to approach break-even on a decade’s worth of effort and investment. There’s a long way to go on that journey; total donations we’ve received to date don’t add up to a single year’s costs of hosting and delivering the series.

This is a different model than what was in place when we began the webinar series. We’re grateful for all of the support that we have received to date, and look forward to continuing. We’re also making available a free one-month subscription so that you can experience the new site for yourself.  Head over to https://technobility.online to register for your free subscription (no obligation, credit card information or assigning of your first-born required).

For everyone with a current monthly or annual subscription, you should have already received an email from us.

We believe this a valuable change, and hope you think so too. We look forward to seeing you at future webinars, and encourage you to continue to spread the word about what we have to offer.

Thanks so much!

Mark & Peter
